I guess that's correct if you go by Viz.

No need to be insulting. I was just trying to help out.
And yes, all I have seen are the Viz versions, because
some of us aren't so lucky to have access to the originals.
MI, yes. UY, yes. Ranma, no. Sorry. I just sat down and typed
out how VIZ pronounces them. Kun-chan did a VERY nice synopsis
on how the JAPANESE version pronounces the names. Please 
refer to that if you think "I am joking."

First off... in some names, u goes unpronounced... like...
Shinnosuke = Shin-no-s'kay

Shin-oh-su-kay in the Viz version.

Sasuke = Sas'kay

Sah-soo-kay in the Viz version.

Daisuke = Dais'kay (in Japanese AND English, it sounds like this.  See

only said once in the Viz version and I thought it was Dai-su-kay


They pronounce Ukyou about 40 different ways.
