MI, yes. UY, yes. Ranma, no. Sorry. I just sat down and typed
out how VIZ pronounces them. Kun-chan did a VERY nice synopsis
on how the JAPANESE version pronounces the names. Please 
refer to that if you think "I am joking."

Sasuke = Sas'kay

Sah-soo-kay in the Viz version.

'Sa-suke' 'a' ('father') 'suke' (the 'u' is only half pronounced so it's
more like 'sk') 'e' ('pen')

They pronounce Ukyou about 40 different ways.

And you should hear how they pronounce 'okonomiyaki' ... about 100 different
ways... -_-;

'o-ko-no-mi-ya-ki' 'o' ('open'), 'i' ('ink'), 'a' ('father') ... All sylables
are said very short... None of this Viz 'o-ko-gnome-miyagi' stuff... Do they
think that the guy from Karate Kid is a gnome or something? ;p
