I guess that's correct if you go by Viz.

First off... in some names, u goes unpronounced... like...
Shinnosuke = Shin-no-s'kay
Sasuke = Sas'kay
Daisuke = Dais'kay (in Japanese AND English, it sounds like this.  See
Hinako OAV)

And..
Ukyou = Uk-yo
Ryouga = Almost sounds like 'Yoga... r getting phased out
Akane = Um, it is Ah-ka-ne, not Ah-KAH-ne... unless you go by Viz, I don't.
Ranma = Almost sounds like Lan-ma
Kasumi = Ka-s'mi
Hiroshi = H'ro-shi
As for how the vowels sound, see below chart. ^_^

A = Ah
E = Ay
I = Ee
O = Oh
U = Uu (long u, like 'oo' though cut entirely sometimes)

But I'm going by the actual Japanese voice actors.  When I sit down and
watch Ranma subtitled, these are what the names sound like. ^_^
