Wow!
Very impressive, especially for a first story.
Some C&C:

Hmm...meant to make this private. Oh well.

Folks, I've seen this time and time again and I'm getting a tad frustrated
(nothing against you personally here Jeff). But why post this privately?
The ratio of spam to actual talk about fanfiction is so overbalanced on
the >>spam side that it's a welcome sight to see C&C on the list itself.
<snip>
I would really like to see alot more C&C make
it to the list. If the C&C contains information more suited to a private
reply then so be it. But if the discussion of fanfics on the list itself can
generate a larger readership and in turn help the author with his/her
craft, then why isn't it being done more often? Don't be shy folks! Post
it to >>the list :)

Well, I'm as guilty of private posting C+C from list-posts as anyone else.
I guess maybe we should start posting all C+C to the list unless the author
specifically requests private C+C. But, unless it's info of a personal
nature, how do you determine what sort of info is more suited to a private
reply?

Read your C&C message over before you send it. Would you be embarassed
for yourself or the recipient if it went to the list by mistake? I did it
once (no I'm not telling what post it was either<g>) and can vividly recall
the feeling of horror as I realized my mistake. After reading the message
again I had little to fear, but that horrible freezing of my blood will not
be soon forgotten ;)
