   My notes say that if you are talking about your father, you refer to him as
   your "chichi" <g>  (if talking about your mother, you refer to her as your
   "haha")

You're right, but Ranma is not that polite; I know he uses ofukuro for
his mother, and I think oyaji is the equivalent for father, and I know
he uses that to Genma's face.
