I'm assuming a certain amount of knowledge on the part of the 
readership.  

FYI it's all from the the TV series Volume 5.  Ryoga is fighting Ranma, 
Akane gets mad at Ranma, and when Ranma wants to go after her, Ryoga 
tries to fight with Ranma.  Ranma kicks him, and Ryoga's razor-like belt 
goes flying.  It cuts off Akane's hair.

Akane hurt her ankle tripping over a tree root trying to escape the 
fallout of the Ranma-Ryoga fight.

All the flashbacks can be found, in part, in the Ranma 1/2 TV series 
(not Nethoutten).  In turn, these episodes (except for the very last 
one) are lifted directly from the early volumes of the manga.  

Again, I'm assuming that people have seen the episodes, or read the 
manga, or read summaries of the manga, or something.  :)

Other than that, what did you think?
