Ok, guys! Here is a x-over that I doubt no one has ever done before!

Ok, I started this because I thought it'd be an interesting crossover.
For those of you who know about R.A. Salvatore, it'll be a treat!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Deep beneath what we know as the surface of this planet, there lies a whole
different world. A world full of dangers, dark and treacherous creatous
and where one finds it impossible to survive. Where the footsteps of humans
are never heard nor seen. It is a dark and alien land woven from the fabric
of dreams --and of nightmares. The inhabitants are as evil as it is dark.
This is known as the Underdark.

                        Ranma in the Dark
                           By Jack Ji
                            Prologue

(We see a huge building made from a huge stalctite. It has many magic runes
and symbols on it. We zoom in through its double doors into a labortory. We
see a sillohuette of a figure in robs.)

Figure:(thought) Just a little bit more and I'll have this prefected! (He
adds a little bit of powder in a vial and chants a few words. We see the
screen go POOF in a brown cloud of smoke.)

Figure: That shouldn't have *cough* happened. (Waving off the smoke.) I must
try this enhanced teleportation spell again...(He peers into a small ball
that is floating above the vial. It shows the image of things he's never seen
before. We see cars driving down a street in the globe.) Strange. (Grabs a
quil and throws it in the ball. We see it pop up in the globe, fall to the
road and get run over by a truck. He quickly writes down exactly what he did,
step by step. A blue doorway appears on a wall and the figure walks through
it.)

(We see a room with a tall figure wearing a cape and rimmed hat. He has been
waiting for a while.)

Tall Figure: It's about time you got here. I've been waiting for quiet some
time.

Robed Figure: (frowning) I was busy, Jarlaxle.

Jarlaxle: Ah, but it is rude of a guest to complain to a host. My appologies,
my dear Gromph.

Gromph: What is it that you want?

Jarlaxle: It concerns you're mother's... legacy.

Gromph: (shouting) She had no legacy. She failed! Lloth was not in her favor!

Jarlaxle: (calming voice) Very well. I was mearly being polite. Back to
business. Your sister, Trael, now Matron Mother of house Banrae, has plans
on making another raid.

Gromph: (surprised) Back to Mithril Hall on the surface again? That is crazy!

Jarlaxle: (shaking head. I did not say that she would try to take over
Mithril Hall again, did I?

Gromph: Then where does she plan on raiding?

Jarlaxle: She doesn't know where it is yet. She thinks she'll get House
Banrae back in Lloth's favor by capturing someplace that Drizzt Do'Urden
cares about. But not Mithril Hall again.

Gromph: Why not Blingdenstone? Does not the renegade drow have friends there?

Jarlaxle: That is what I thought also. But your stubborn sister insists
that it be someplace else. She had a dream about it a few days ago. She says
"it's a sign from Lloth." Personally, I think she's gone mad.

Gromph: And she doesn't know where this place is?

Jarlaxle: No, it is a place where Lloth has very little power; almost none
in fact. She described it as a place that she's never seen before. It was
someplace on the surface. There were humans on there, but they did not act
like the humans of the surface world. They were less barbaric. They did not
get light from candles, nor do they use any magic or magical items.

Gromph: It sounds easy enough to conquer. However, why would Drizzit Do'Urden
care about this place?

Jarlaxle: He's a ranger, of course. He'll do anything to stop the spread of
Lloth's power, no matter where it is!

Gromph: Of course. But why does this involve me?

Jarlaxle: Matron Trael said that in her "vision" Lloth also told her that you
would play a major role in getting the drow soldiers to this place. For some
reason, it can't be reached marching there, no matter how long they walk.

Gromph: Very well. Tell my sister that I shall see her tomorrow when
Narbondellyn is at it's peek in the day.

Jarlaxle: I shall do so. (Gromph pulls a rope. A magical door appears on a
wall. Jarlaxle takes off his hat, makes a deep bow with it and leaves out
the door.)

                                ******

(We see a tall, dark figure with two sheathes on his belt walk in. Behind
him is a red-haired women with a sheathe on her belt, a bow and quiver on
her back. They are sitting in a room talking to a silver robed woman.)

Dark figure: (to robed woman.)Why have you summoned us here, Lady Alustriel?

Alustriel: It is of the upmost importance. First, I'd like to thank you two
for coming this quickly, Drizzit and Cattie-brie.

Cattie-brie: Yer very welcome, m'lady. Now, why're we here?

Drizzt: Yes, what is so important?

Alustriel: I have felt Lloth at work again. Her magic is building up. She
plans on something big this time.

Drizzt: Bigger than Matron Banrae's raid on Mithril Hall?

Alustriel: Yes, much bigger. She plans another raid, but this time, not of
this world.

Cattie-brie: What do you mean?

Alustriel: She has found a world where little magic exists and where the
fighters a very weak. It has an elite few on a small island.

Drizzt: Lloth plans on extending her influence onto another world? Is that
possible?

Alustriel: For this one, I am afraid so. Many people have lost their faith
in their gods. They do not worship them anymore so they will not get their
protection.

Cattie-brie: We've got to stop them somehow.

Drizzt: Yes, we must act now, before they reach that world.

Alustriel: I'm afraid it is alread too late.

Drizzt: (worried)What do you mean?

Alustriel: I have felt the magical burst of energy of something that went
through to that world. It seems that going to this dimension gives off a
lot of magical energy. Since this place has so little magic, one will lose
all of their magical energy in the transport but will eventually regain it.

Cattie-brie: Was it a drow soldier that went through?

Alustriel: No, it was very small. Yet, it gave off much energy. As if it
was near magical energy for a long time.

Drizzt: We will go back to Mithril Hall and inform Bruenor of this right now.

(They leave. Screen fades out.)
                                ******

(We see the same labortory again. Gromph has been examining the strange
globe and it's images for a long time. He drops a piece of paper into it.
*poof* It appears in the globe, and falls to the road.)

Gromph: Very interesting. Maybe my long distance teleport spell did work.
(He takes the vial in his hand. The globes still floats above it. He chants
a few words and a magical door appears on a wall. He walks through it.)

(We now see a room with a desk with many books on it and a candle. We see
a bed next to it. The magical door behind him closes up as he enters. There
is a knock on a regular door.)

Gromph: (putting vial on desk) Yes?

Voice: You wanted to see me, sir?

Gromph: Oh, yes. Come in, I almost forgot. (Makes a gesture and door opens up
A tall drow stands in the doorway. He is carrying a sword, a crossbow and is
wearing some armor.)

Soldier: What is it that you wanted me for, sir?

Gromph: You have served House Banrae well. I have decided to award you with
something.

Soldier: Thank you, sir. If I may ask, what is it?

Gromph: (takes vial, puts it on floor.) It is this. (Chants a few words to
make globe above vial grown untill it is about the size of the drow solider.)
I wanted to let you take a short... vacation.

Soldier: Vacation, sir?

Gromph: Do not repeat what I say!

Soldier: Yes, sir.

Gromph: It is an illusion. You will be in here for exactly one day. It will
help you relax.

Soldier: (putting weapons on floor) Thank you, sir.

Gromph: Pick those up! I did not say you could leave them here.

(We see the soldier pick up his weapons. He quickly walks into the globe.
*poof* He appears in the middle of a street. A car is heading right towards
him but he manages to jump out of the way onto the sidewalk. He is a little
dazed from the sun light.)

Gromph: (thinking) Interesting. That was a very big magical energy blast.
It actually works with living things. I wonder how well this soldier will
fair on in this strange place. (Fades out.)

                                ******
(We see a peaceful little street in Nerima District, Tokyo. Ranma is running
away from Shampoo, who is riding on her bicycle.)

Ranma: Go away, Shampoo!

Shampoo: Aiyah! Ranma go on date with Shampoo, yes?

Ranma: No, I'm too busy. Besides, Akane will kill me if I-(Bumps into drow
soldier. The drow procedes to ask him something in the drow tongue. Ranma
shrugs and backs off.)

Ranma: Hey, this ain't some Star Trek convention. (zoom in on dark, pointing
ears. Ranma goes up and examines the drow's ears more carefully.) Hey, these
are real! (tugging on the drow's ear.)

Shampoo: Ranma, is not nice doing to black man.

Mousse: Ranma! How dare you take off with Shampoo!

(We see the drow soldier get mad. He takes his crossbow and forms a globe of
darkness around Ranma. He shoots his sleeping dart into the globe.)

Ranma: Yo, who turned out the lights?(Instinctively dodges upon hearing the
twang of a bow.)

(We see the dart go through the globe of darkness and hitting Mousse.)

Mousse: Shampoo! (Grabbing for Shampoo as he falls into a deep sleep.)

Shampoo: Hmm! Serve Mousse right!

(The drow now is half mad, half afraid. He takes his sword out and jabs it at
Ranma. Ranma dodges it quickly.)

Ranma: Hey *dodge* what do you *dodge* think you are *dodge* doing?

Drow: (in drow tongue) In name of Lloth die, human! Off! (Shampoo's bonbori
hits him from behind.)

Shampoo: No hurt Ranma! (Procedes to totally waste him but the drow soldier
casts another globe of darkness on Shampoo.) Why is so dark now?
(The drow swipes downward with is sword.)*swoosh* Aiyah! Ranma help Shampoo!

Ranma: No! Shampoo! Die, you bastard! KACHUU TENSHIN AMAGURIKEN! (Ranma
starts punching furiously at the drow. The drow, being well trained, dodges
most of them but about 135 hit him.)

Drow: (In drow tongue) I've never see a human like you fight this well before.

Ranma: (panting)Had enough yet?

(The drow jumps above Ranma and dives towards him, sword first.)

Ranma: Oh, no you don't! (starts charging up ki quickly) MOUKO TAKABISHYA!
(The beam hits the drow in full force. He goes flying in the air. We see it
zoom on his face.)

Drow: Gromph! You have tricked meeeeee! (We see the drown land in a cenment
truck. He gets turned into a drow statue and gets crunched up into a little
pieces.)
                                ******
(We are back in Gromph's labortory. The screen zooms in on his eyes.)

Gromph: (shock) That... that human defeated one of our drow!
(We hear a voice coming out of nowhere.)
Voice: Gromph! I wish to see you NOW!

Gromph: (thinking) Great, what does SHE want now?

Voice: Do not complain. You know that Matron Mothers can read thoughts.

Gromph: Yes, Matron Trael, I am coming immediately!

Voice of Trael: Good. I expect you now.

(Gromph chants a spell and, again, a door appears on a wall. He walks through
it. We see him stepping out of a magical door into a long hall. The screen
zooms to the end of the hall. It is a throne room. A rather large female
figure is sitting on a throne at the end of the room.)

Trael: Gromph, you came too slowly.

Gromph: (Kneeling with face down.)My appologies, my Matron Mother. I was...
busy with an experiment.

Trael: Nevermind that. I have had a vision from Lloth. I believe you already
know.

Gromph: (surprised)Yes, I do, my Matron Mother.

Trael: Do not be so surprised. Lloth has told me much. She has told me that
found a gateway on accident to a strange land on the surface.

Gromph: Yes, my Matron Mother.

Trael: Lloth has also informed me that you will send a soldier through that
portal. Have you already done so?

Gromph: (very shocked) My appologies, my Matron Mother. He was only a male. I
thought he was expendable.

Trael: (laughing) I do not care of that. Lloth wants this new world, this
Earth. Our great Lloth has found that the only opposition would come from
a small island called "Japan."

Gromph: I shall started making a large portal immediately, Matron Mother!

Trael: And you will finish before the end of the day tomorrow! At that time,
we shall send half our soldiers to destroy this small threat.

Gromph: Matron Mother, I believe that the drow soldier I sent has already
taken care of one of their females.

Trael: He was lucky then. Lloth told me that these fighters can take on
many opponents at one time. Perhaps we could capture a few of them and
have them teach their fighting at the Academy. You may leave now, Gromph.

Gromph: Thank you, Matron Trael. (Trael takes out a whip with 5 snake heads.)

Trael: You shall call me Matron Mother. (She procedes to whip him with it.
The screen fades.)
                                ******
(We fade into Lady Alustriel's room. She is carefully planning something.
Suddenly, she looks up.)

Alustriel: (thinking) That was a big energy blast. Oh no. It's started! I
must act quickly now!
                                ******

(We see an overhead shot of Dr. Tofu and Ranma looking over Shampoo. She is
lying on a bed, unconscious.)

Ranma: Can you do anything for her, Doc?

Dr. Tofu: Hmm... (Looks at the wound. It is a nasty cut on her shoulder.
There is a darkish lump forming on it.) I have never seen any injury like this
before. What did you say she was hit by?

Ranma: I'm not too sure. This black guy with a sword swung into this totally
black globe that surrounded Shampoo.

Dr. Tofu: It looks like the sword had some poison on it. (Gets some herbs
from a cabinet) This is the best I can do. I think she'd better rest for a
while until the wound fully heals.

Ranma: Thanks, Doc. (Ranma picks up Shampoo and leaves out the door. He heads
towards Nekohanten.) This is all my fault. If I hadn't have gotten in that
black guys way...

(Ranma reaches Nekohanten. He walks in. The place is empty except for Cologne
behind the counter.)

Cologne: Son in law, what has happened to my great-granddaughter. (Hops over
the counter. Ranma sets Shampoo on a table and sits down.)

Ranma: There was this black guy going to some Star Trek convention.

Cologne: Star Trek convention?

Ranma: Yeah, he had these pointy ears, even though I don't know why he
was carrying a sword and crossbow. (Puts head in his hands.)

Cologne: Did he make dark globes and have darts that make people go to sleep?

Ranma: Yeah, were you there?

Cologne: (Eyes widen) This is more urgent than we thought. It has been
thousands of years since the last sighting of a drow.

Ranma: What's a drow?

Cologne: I will explain later, son in law. We must go to Tendo Training Hall
immediately! (Ranma picks up Shampoo and heads out, running, with Cologne.
Screen fades out. To be continued...)

Author's afterwards:

What do you guys think? I just thought this up in about two hours. Sounds
good? How many of you actually reads the Forgotten Realms and R.A Salvatore,
anyway?

Well, this is suppose to start right after where Seige of Darkness ends
except where Drizzt and Cattie-brie don't go off into the west immediately but
instead goes to Alustriel as a detour after hearing a message of hers.

Oh yeah, this is my first time trying on writing in script format. Man, is it
easier! I didn't proof read this either.
