A short C&C session....
   Interesting. Certainly not the normal FFML fare; I have no idea if its
based off an Anime series, but I doubt it.
   Excellent writing in this. Crisp, vivid imagery, decent emotional
description. My biggest quibble is the lack of intial information and
explaination - I was never exactly sure why Damon and Co. were heading to
the past: was it to start a new life in a pioneer fashion, change history,
or something else? This is probably explained later on, but it caused me a
bit of confusion.
   

       The year is 2008.  Overcrowding, a totalitarian government, and
vicious, constantly infighting intelligence agencies plague the world.
It's not a nice place to live.

   So nothing's changed since the present day, huh? ;)

   Another teasing lapse....what was this secret Damon's lost love was
hiding? Who was she? Why were....again, this had better be answered later
on. I hate nagging little questions.
   Course, that also ensures that I'm gonna have to read part two. :)
   You might want to describe the seadweller in a bit mort detail. All be
really know about his physical apperance is that he's humanoid, has a
implant-type thing, and is heavy.

       Behind us, a menacing black chopper rose into view, closing
rapidly.  Kerin looked back, fearful.
       "Looks like we've got company.  Keep your head down."

DOH! Black UN helicopters! The miltia dudes were right after all! ;)

   Now, if I were a evil government intelligence agency, I'd paint all my
helicopters a really ugly day-glo pink and yellow. :)

   Overall, I liked it. And if you don't repost the others, at least tell
me the answers to the above. :)
