All right, this is the third attempt.

I can't believe how difficult it is to get my story out to the masses.
It was a week before our newsserver went up again and I could post this
to rec.arts.anime.creative, and now I have these problems getting the
story into the ML in one piece.  Boohoo!

Perhaps it works when I attach it as plain text.  Netscape Mail seems 
to be the only mailer on this computer that allows me to choose the
form of attachment.  I hope this works (I dont trust Netscape).
