Warped Reality Part 2

	Waking up in a strange bet with nightmares of ending up in Japan 
is not the best way to start your day.  Finding out that the nightmares are
true and you have lost a month in your life and are inexplicable in Japan is
worse.  Much worse.

"Well Conrad we did some checking" said Mr. Hollister, current head of the embassy.  "It seems that your parents have gone to Hawaii on a vacation so unfortunately we cannot get you in contact with them.  However we did find your hotel room and had all

"The doctor and I would like you to continue to live here at  the embassy for a while to make sure that you are OK.  If you need anything else please just say so." Hollister continued.  "The doctor said that you need to keep active and not dwell upon y
	After being dropped off at the same school he had visited earlier and being brought to meet the English teacher Conrad was allowed to relax until class started.  

"Class this is Conrad Borsting, an American who will be staying in japan for awhile.  He is here to learn Japanese.  You will be courteous and helpful.  Mizuno Ami,  because you are the top student here your job will be to see to it that Mr. Borsting p


Three Days Later

<Well> Ami said < I think that you are ready to meet some of my friends now and go see a movie>

<I would like that> Conrad replied slowly taking his time to make sure that he had understood what Ami had said.  

<hurry up then we don't want to be late> called out Ami as she ran to catch the approaching bus.  

"wait up don't talk so fast I cant understand you that way" Con called after her.  

	Outside the theater Conrad noticed two figures approaching that looked disturbingly familiar.  `no It cant be this sort of thing doesn't exist in real life' he thought and moments later `it does they are coming to meet us'

	he first girl to reach them was an absolute knockout with long silky blond hair held back by a red ribbon and sky blue eyes.  <Mina meet my friend Conrad,  He is from the US and is here for a few months visiting,  Conrad meet one of my best friends Mi

<uh hello its nice to meet you Mina> stammered Conrad, not truly believing the evidence before his eyes.  `The sailor scouts cant be real things like that just don't happen.'

	His mind was in such turmoil that he almost missed being formally introduced to Lita.  As the four walked towards the theater entrance Conrad felt himself relaxing and starting to talk about where he was going to go to collage, until he noticed what m

	Despite three days of near constant drilling in Japanese Con only caught a snippet here and there but despite this he understood what was going on in the movie perfectly.  It was the conversation that followed that he had trouble with.

<wow that's creepy> said Mina as they walked out of the theater.

<you can say that again Mina> replied Lita <I mean not only did they have our names but they even looked sort of like us what do you think the odds of that happening are?>

<approximately one in 567 million> said Ami after a brief silence.

<567 million what?> asked a flustered Con.

" those are the odds against an animated feature using the names of three friends and also drawing reasonable likeness of them for a feature film are" explained Ami " we were just saying how creepy that is."

< Well I will see you all at school tomorrow> Con said as he started to walk back to the embassy.  `Hm I think that this calls for a bit of investigation'

	About half way home he turned back towards the school.  Once gaining admittance he stared to do some research in the library.  First he checked out the yearbook.  No luck the only Juniors were Ami, Lita, and Mina.  Next he looked through the older one
	Back at the embassy lying awake in bed he came to the conclusion that it was all just incredible coincidence.  That there were people named Ami, Mina, and Lita in japan at the same school and they were not part of a secret team devoted to driving off
