I'm not advocating rape here, mind you, only saying that torturous
punishment would definately qualify as "cruel and unusual".

Oh? What about the cruel and unusual punishment a woman (or a man) has
inflicted on themselves when getting raped? Do they deserve that? No. I
will not go into my diatribe about the habit of our government to favor
the rights of the criminal over those of the victim. Yes, if a man commits
rape, he DOES deserve cruel and unusual punishment, MORESO if that crime
is child molestation. The act commited can ruin a life, and the criminal
deserves NO LESS in return!
