Please!!  For those who were not here the first time it was posted, we've 
*had* this discussion.  Drop the basic premise, and there is no story.

    I already said I LIKED the story!  The only point I had to make is 
that it would help a bit if it was even partially explained how it was 
possible.  (note, again.... I did NOT say it was impossible.)
    Any anime/manga story requires some suspension of disbelief.  Still, 
it is the author's responsibility to make this as little as possible.  
Given the premise of this story, this is an extremely difficult task, and 
I will be very impressed if it is handled well... but then, I was quite 
impressed by the story overall.
    I am not trying to say that this fic is *wrong* because its premise 
is implausible... that would be highly arrogant of me.  Simply put, an 
already good story would become better if this matter was clarified a little.
That's just my $0.02... if you disagree, fine.  So be it.

And there are other things that need flam^H^H^H^Hdiscussion instead.

Like Akane's powers.  Immune to heat, can lock something in mid-air, and
can generate a punch more powerful than enough Cologne can. 

Actually, I have no problem with this at all.  Desperate circumstances 
can bring totally unforseen results, especially where the human factor is 
involved.
