Hi All,

Kinda spammy question, but does anyone
use netscape 2.0 and above for email?
I ask because that's what I'm using at
home right now for my pop3 email. I'd
rather use pine, but didn't feel like
setting it up. ^_^;; Just wondering
as netscape seems to be able to handle
the base64 encoding format and images
in email. ^_^;;

Nagisa.

Yeah. I'm using Netscape for email. I kinda like it more than Eudora
Light (and some people would complain about that comment... Its your
opinion, and I respect that.) It handles everything except for bin-hex
attachment fine. For binhex, you need to find a conversion program to
convert the binhex attachment to text. Other than that, I've had no real
problems with it so far.

eudora pro supports them all.
also, try the "microsoft internet mail & news client" for win 95...

Is that anything like the Microsoft web browser thing? That thing crashed on
me in 10 minutes when I tried to do a Yahoo search...it didn't last another
two minutes before I deleted it.

it is VERY nice...good user interface in terms of quick functionality...
a mite too many windows open at one time...OLE 2.0., it can be fired up
*inside* explorer's window, etc...the UI is pretty too ^_^
find it at http://www.windows95.com - THE ULTIMATE win95 site!!

I'm not going to comment on Win95, since I'd get torn to little tiny pieces
and Fed to a rabid chipmunk....
