Well done.  I'm reminded of the last episode of "Cosmos", when Sagan 
looks at the death of another civilization...and sees the probability of 
Earth's destruction.  An excellent story, with some social conscience to 
it.  It also shows the easy trap we as humanity can get into...war after 
war, fight after fight until we don't know how to do anything else.
