When the suit, which is tight enough as it is, suddenly has a person in it
who >has twice the mass of the usual occupant, something will give.
Twice? Maybe an extra 20 to 50% but twice? The only two sex-changing
characters >in Ranma were Ranma and Herb. In neither case was it shown that
they lost half >their mass when they turned female. Also, there are plenty
of pictures of >Ranma-kun and Ranma-chan posing together, you can tell that
Ranma-chan is >definitely more than half the size of Ranma-kun. About
three-quarters actually.
He did say 'mass' not 'volume'. As a guess, I'd put her no more than
60kg and the male Linna probably about 100 (if he's as fit as Linna was).
Nearly twice as massive. Also, remember how body-hugging the hardsuits were.
This is especially relevant in the lower abdomen, since Linna is rather thin
there. If she turned into a guy, any electronics there would be fried,
easily. Same with her shoulders.
Of course, I was expecting Linna to turn into a panda. :) (But I like
her turning into a guy better--for terms of complications--like Nene)
