At least "GD" wasn't one of those stories in which *everyone* is a hardened 
killer.  That was one of the things I liked about "GD"; the friendship 
between Shimura and Gally was kind of sentimental, and contrasted with all 
the bloody killings so the story wasn't just a plain gorefest.
