*cringe* um, the Anime?(what little I've seen with the two of 'em together)?
fanfics? *sniffle* I'm sorry, don't hurt me...but I still think that Ryouga
nad Ukyou should get together...since I've never seen any of the manga past
um...that bit with the Japanese jysenkyou(SP!!!!), and the only anime I've
seen with 'em is Ranma movie 2...it seems that She's the only girl he can
really talk to without getting all shy and embarassed and stuff....(don't
hurt me too much if that's not true please*whimper*)

   Want to go by the anime? Fine. (Akari and Konatsu do not exist in the 
anime--yet--and the animators may very well want to put Ryoga and Ukyo 
together. They have their own ideas about these matters, as anybody familiar 
with both the manga and the anime will know.) Even if so there may still 
be a problem.
   Ryoga and Ukyo, as drawn by the animators at least, look much alike-- if 
you don't believe me, go back to (say) _One Grew Over the Kuno's Nest_ and the 
cursed tunnel story and look. (This didn't really strike me until I saw Ukyo 
in Nettouhen 23 [in _Ukyo Can Cook_, which I got in the mail a few days ago 
{cue leap for joy}] and realized her face was Ryoga's with blue eyes.) 
Could it be that somewhere along the line in the anime Rumic world (and not 
too long ago either) one of the Hibikis took a Kuonji wife? That could 
cause all sorts of problems if our Mr. Hibiki and Miss Kuonji got together...
