I quite agree white wolf it works both ways.

Ranma got me into fanfic and I look at the other manga
beause of what I liked in the fanfic. I only read the first book and that was started me reading fanfic. The fanfic got me reading manga when I can find it.

BGC is on my list to read if I can find it.
