[This is it, folks. From the Megami NL.]

We're in the home stretch! Down to the last few that
I've read. This is not to say that I've finished. I've
got some more Ranma/AMG crossovers to get through. But
this is the last of the backlog. I'm also postponing
my review of Meta-Matics until it's been revised.

"Green-Eyed Monster" by Ryan Mathews

Meh. Never have I met a fanfic that left so little
impression on me. @

"Being Skulded" by John Collins

This, on the other hand, was excellent. Well
characterized, good suspenseful stuff, some real
emotion, and a proposal! Who could ask for anything
more?

"No Mere Mortal" by Ed Sharpe

After Scenes from a Life and Oh My Devil Hunter, this
is my favorite. Wonderfully written, great character
development for Skuld, and Kenji...well, since everyone's
ended up re-using him, we know how good he is. A must
for any AMG fan.

"Malice and Denial" by Michael Ked

This was the one I originally said I wouldn't review, but
I was told it had a happy ending. Well, of sorts. This
is one dark mama-jama. After reading it, I felt like
watching a few episodes of China Beach to cheer myself
up. Skuld is taken in a direction that is still plausible,
yet totally different to what everyone else has done. And
as for what Belldandy and Keiichi go through...<shudder>.
I also liked the fact that Urd was written as the most
mature of the three, while still being Urd. A welcome
change. Megumi was also written very well, always a plus
for me. I don't know what Skuld fans will think of this
one. Me, I'm a Belldandy fan, with Megumi a close second,
so I liked it, but still...heavy.

That's it for now. I'll try and review new fanfics as soon
as I read them, but who knows when that will be. Thanks to
everyone for your support.
