Here is more ego stroaking material.
Although I enjoyed Mr. Ward's Aa! Megami-Sensi! story line
very much, I have to agree with the comments below. While
the story was very well done, I think it would have been a
better series if fewer new characters had been introduced.
Of course, it does a *heck* of a lot of good to tell you
that now that the series is completed.
"Aa! Megami-Sensei!" by Peter Ward
Pretty good, but I'm not an Urd fan. No major problems, and
introduces new characters. But it hasn't stuck in my mind. @
>To be truthful, this story line can do a lot better
if it didn't add so many new characters. This is
not a slam at the author, Mr. Ward, just call it a
personal bias.
As far as Urd is concerned, her character is what
holds the story together. I would like to see more
interplay between her and Nabiki (kind of a battle
of wits between the two). In addition, if Urd was
just being herself (the meddling 'Cupid of Love'),
this cross-over really take off.
As far as the aliens are concerned, drop the
mechaniod, the mole character and their human side-
kick, "Kraftwerk",(If I remember correctly). They
don't add to the story.
The concept has alot going for it. Moreover, it just
needs to stick closer to the two major character
worlds of 'Ah! Megami-sama' and 'Ranma 1/2'
(anyway that's my two yen's worth)
"Moonlight and Cherry Pie" by White Wolf
Probably the best of the Ranma X-overs that I've read, this is
basically a Ranma story with Skuld. Lots of Akane cooking
jokes. Very funny.
>Agree totally with you here, a funny story. Well
written.
