song I wrote a while ago.  Check it out, it's short.


Wo Ai Ni

Notes: I use //// to denote a hold.  I like to bend the notes that are
held longer a leetle bit (when possible).

On the third part, the bass is kind of hard to play.  I have rather
big hands; for people with small hands it may be impossible.  My
advice: Either try using your thumb(still need big hands), or don't
play the A or E strings, and lower what's played on the D string to
the A string.  It sounds right for all four parts.

Play this song rather fast and very close to the rhythm.  If it looks
difficult it really isn't, being based on repetitive patterns and then
having a kinda bass-line added on.

The sung melody pretty much follows the bass line.

Hmmm...just a silly little song.  Since last Summer I've been working
on "The Ranma Album."  Mostly original music with lyrics about Ranma.
Kind've the "Double Fantasy" type thing.  Mostly Jazz and Blues, but a 
variety.  This song is in a different vein: I saw the *excellent* Hawaiian 
slack key guitarist Ray Kane in concert, and was so excited that I wrote
this, which kind of sounds slack key guitarish, having 3/4 things going
on at once.  
If I have enough time I'll try to put up a Ranma Album web site with
.realaudio.  Most of my other songs are longer, platforms for
improvising, not based on a single guitar, or use slides, effects,
etc., and therefore are difficult to transcribe.  Although...I've wanted
to put up the site for half a year now, so don't hold your breath ^_^.

If you play the song and have any comments or suggestions or anything,
I'd be *very* interested to hear from you.

Suggestions: try improvising a bit on the top three strings, and change 
the bassline for the third section.
