I presume you're joking because I've sen plenty of stories that are 
original works come across this list, some of which have been quite good.

At least I _HOPE_ you're joking, cause I had an idea for an original 
story I was going to try to cowrite with John Biles and it would be nice 
to be able to post it here for C&C...

Go ahead and post it.  I myself have authored and posted *only* original
stories, loosely based on anime, up 'til now.  It's always polite to ask
first, but I doubt anyone is going to have any serious objections.
