:) (using Win95 right now as well)
[Win95]: HEY, QUIT USING BETA SOFTWARE LIKE YOUR MAIL PROGRAM! DIDN'T YOU
LIKE MINE??? HUH? WELL? ANSWER ME!
[me]: Oh shut up. I'm downloading the release version. And I still have my
Linux CD around here somewhere.
[Win95]: If you think I'm scared of some little hack job of an OS, you've
got another thing.... Wait, did you say Linux?
[me]: Yep.
[Win95]: I'LL BEHAVE! JUST DON'T DELETE ME! PLEASE!
[me]: That's better.
Oh, yeah, just remember to threaten Win95 with a really good os, then it
seems to behave. :)
It doesn't believe me!!
[Win95]: Ha! fuckin' mac OS... AS IF!
Okay, so I just said the first thing that came to mind... next time I'll try harder.
But seriously, I really like Win95. There is no way in hell I can go back to that lame-O 3.11.
I hope you're not using the beta "Internet Mail and News" program... I admit, it is a leap ahead of Exchange, but it has a bad habit of making mail "disappear", ie. it's still there, but you can't see it or access it in any way. If it happens to your inbox, you're up the creek... It only happened to my Outbox and sent items folder... but about 14 other people on the MS Newsgroups are having the same problem. Be careful...
Thanks for the support, too. I haven't written creatively (only essays) for hmm... 3, 4 years now. So I got on this list, saw the spam, hated it, and took 30min to post something decent (IMO). I guess I'll have to finish it now... I hate reading part of a book, then for some reason not being able to finish it (no matter how bad the book is).
Someone asked me to format the fic to 70 lines... Isn't word wrap kind of a necessity these days? I like writing this way because I can move the text to a better program, size up the font, easier to edit, etc. I don't even know HOW to format it to 70 columns...?
