Subject: [Fanfic]Mousse's love[Ranma]
Jeffrey "OneShot" Wong
Ranma 1/2: Mousse's love
A gentle breeze blew through the streets of Nerima, causing the
springtime leaves of the trees to flutter about, gently rocking back and
forth, to and fro. The full moon radiated its light, causing the streets to
glow a brilliant shade of silver. The stars twinkled in the dark sky,
waiting to be wished one by some kid who truely believed his wish would
come true. It was very late that night, the night Shampoo's life will
forever change. The Nekohanten was just about to close. Shampoo was
finishing up with her final rounds of cleaning, washing each table with a
wet cloth. Mousse was no where in site, having gone off to make a final
delivery before the shop closed. Cologne was upstairs, fast asleep, leaving
Shampoo the only person to wait up for Mousse before she closed the shop
up.
As she continued to clean, her thoughts were about Mousse, not about why
he was late returning back to the store, or on his persistance to win her
love, or even his lack of vision, but on why loved her so much and how he
would always be there for her, even when she didn't need him.
Once she was finished with the cleaning, Shampoo proceeded to pick up
the chairs and place them upside-down ontop of the tables. One by one, she
picked each of those heavy chairs up with little or no strain. She was in
great shape, which was the reason why she was able to do that. If Mousse
were to do this, he would be taking far too much time, for he would have
to rest every few minutes to catch his breath.
As the last few chairs were being placed on the tables, Shampoo turned her
gaze towards the window, where she could see the star-clad night high
above. Looking at the sky was soothing to the beautiful Shampoo, giving her
a thought to sleep out on the roof tonight.
Wanting to get a better view, Shampoo quickly finished off her task and
went outside, taking in a deep breath of fresh air, letting it seep into
her lungs and clense her soul. The streets were very quiet that night, not
a person heard from all directions. As Shampoo stood there, gazing up at
the beautiful sky, a figure slowly emerged from the dark shadows of a
nearby alley behind her, making no noise. Shampoo was totally unware that
someone was this close by till she heard him speak.
"Nice ass!" the came a jeering voice.
Shampoo was startled and jumped a few feet back from where the voice
originated, totally caught by surprise. This was the first time in her life
had someone ever gotten this close to her without her realizing it.
Quickly regaining her composure, she tried to regard him except he was
still within the shadows of the alley, making it impossible for her to see
what he looked like.
"What you want?" Shampoo said, feeling a sense of foreboding envelope
her. It was an eerie feeling that she wanted to get rid of, and fast. Her
heart rate was beating faster and faster.
"I wanna fuck you!" said the man, taking a step forward, into the
light "And then I'm gonna kill you!"
Shampoo's heart skipped a beat.
The man who stood before her had long jet black hair that was tied in a
ponytail in back. He had a massive scar that started from the top of his
left eye, ran down over the eye, and ended right by his chin. He was
heavily muscled, his arms bulging from his short sleeved t-shirt.
Shampoo realized that this was the same man who had escaped from jail
several weeks ago. He was the same man who stalked beautiful young ladies,
raping them, and then killing them.
"Get away!" she said, taking a step back. She quickly pulled out her
bonbori, which appeared out of nowhere.
The man only regarded her for a second, never hesitating in his approach.
He was extremely skilled in martial arts, far more skilled than Shampoo was
or ever will be.
"You think dat's gonna scare me ya fuckin' bitch!" the man said,
continuing on with his slow approach. He slowly got into his battle stance,
while he continued to inch forward.
The man took one lunge forward and punched one of Shampoo's bonbori,
shattering it into a million pieces. Shampoo was momentarily stunned at his
agility and speed, but quickly reacted, aiming her other bonbori into his
stomach with firece intensity. The man easily swatted the attack away with
a well-placed slap on the sphere.
"C'mon bitch, you can do better than that!" he said, leaping backwards to
a safe distance.
Shampoo was now frightened for her life. There was no way she could defeat
him. He was far greater a martial artists than she was.
"Great-grandmother! Help!" Shampoo called towards the Nekohanten's second
story window. Shampoo knew that Cologne would be a worthy match against this
man.
Within moments, Cologne head popped out of the window.
"What's the matter, child?" she said, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
"That the man who escaped from jail!" Shampoo shouted, pinting at the
man, who was crudely regarding the old woman.
"What?!?" Cologne's said, her eyes widening. She suddenly realized just
how dangerous this man was. She remembered seeing it on the news on how he
could kill with no remorse.
Cologne quickly jumped out of the window, landing on her gnarled up
staff, right next to Shampoo, now fully awake from her concern for her
beloved grand-daughter.
"Get away from us!" Cologne demanded, readying herself to attack. She
saw it in the amn's eyes that he was going to attack the both of them at
any second. It was either she attacked first, or he attacked first.
"Heh, now I'm really scared" the man said sarcastically, smiling wryly.
Cologne quickly took the intiative and lunged at him, her staff extended
forward, expecting to hit him in the stomach with such force that it would
send him flying through the air. But that never happened. The man easily
sidestepped out of the way, while grabbing the staff at the same time.
With his hands firmly on, he jerked back, causing Cologne to release her
grip, and to be sent flying forward due to her momentum. She crashed into
the garbage cans, garbage flying everywhere.
Shampoo watched in horror as Cologne got back up and ran towards him with
a flurry of punches, only to have them easily parried away and dodged, and
then countered with a massive blow to Cologne's shoulder. Shampoo heard a
loud pop and realized that the man just dislocated Cologne's shoulder.
Cologne fell to the ground, writhing in excruciating pain, clutching at
her broken shoulder "Shampoo! Run!" she said through clenched teeth, tears
forming in her eyes from the pain.
Shampoo quickly turned to run but tripped on the staff the man threw
between her legs, her knees scraping the gound, causing a layer of skin to
be torn off.
The man quickly ran up to her as she tried to get up. He punched her in
the stomach, knocking the wind right out of her. As Shampoo clutched at her
stomach in pain, the man grabbed a handful of her purple hair and yanked
her to her knees. With one hand held fast in her hair, the man grabbed
one of her wrist as she tried to hit him in the groin. He then grabbed her
other wrist as she tried using her other hand.
"Heh, now it's time for some fun!" he said, placing Shampoo's wrists into
his other hand, the hand that held her hair. Now that he had a free hand,
he proceeded to unbuckle his belt. Shampoo, unable to do anything, proceeded
to cry.
"Let go of my Shampoo!" came a loud voice, causing the man to start. The
voice came from behind him. Shampoo slowly opened her tearing eyes to see
who it was.
It was Mousse.
The man, turned his gaze from Mousse, and back onto Shampoo. He gave her a
wry smile.
"Looks like I'm gonna have some fun with yer friend first!" he said to
Shampoo, leaning forward and kissing her full on the lips, plunging his
tongue deep into her mouth, retracting it before she had a chance to bite
it off.
The man quickly buckled his belt back up and shoved Shampoo aside. He
then turned his attention onto Mousse, who was already in his battle stance.
The man took a step forward, pulling a blade out from his back pocket, the
long blade gleaming against the light, almost blinding Mousse. Mousse took
a step back, frightened for his life as the man took another step forward,
smiling evily, thinking arcane thoughts about what he was going to do to
with Shampoo once he killed Mousse.
"Mousse, get away from here!" Shampoo pleaded "He'll kill you!"
"No! I won't! He must pay for what he has done to you!" Mousse said,
two sets of three-bladed claws popping out from his sleeves, one set
attached to each arm.
"He'll kill you! He even beat great-grandmother!" Shampoo shouted, trying
to get back onto her feet, only to fall back down from the pain in her
knees. She knew there was no way Mousse could defeat this man. Mousse
couldn't defeat her, and she was easily defeated by this man. Slowly,
Shampoo crawled to Cologne's side. Cologne had fallen into unconscious from
the intense pain. All Shampoo could do was pray that Mousse not die a
painful death.
Mousse took a small step forward, his heart beating rapidly from the
adrenaline that coursed through his veins. His hands were twitching from
fright. But he easily pulled himself together, realizing that if he died,
Shampoo would die also. He realized that he was the last person who could
save Shampoo.
"C'mon, attack me!" Mousse shouted tauntingly.
"As you wish" the man said, lunging forward, deflecting Mousse's attack
with his blade, countering it a hard right to Mousse's face.
Mousse was send sprawling to the ground, small trickles of blood flowing
>from busted lip. The blood ran down his chin and fell onto his white robes,
staining it red. Luckily for Mousse, his glasses weren't knocked off by the
attack.
Mousse quickly got to his feet, a little bit disoriented after receiving
such a powerful hit. Even though he was still wearing his glasses, his
vision was slightly blurry. He swayed back and forth for a few moments
before he shoock the dizziness out of his head.
The man quickly lunged forward and decked Mousse with a hard left before
he could react, hitting him in the cheek.
Mousse was sent flying again, his face slamming into the outside wall of
the Nekohanten. Mousse the fell to the ground, a bloodstain left behind on
the wall. The left side of his face was all bloody, blood flowing freely,
dripping down onto the concrete floor.
Slowly, Mousse pushed himself up, and back onto his feet, only to
receive a blow to the stomach, which sent him flying through the glass door
into the Nekohanten.
After a few moments, Mousse emerged form the door, shards of glass
implanted in the side of his face and neck. One of lens of his glasses,
which were still on, was broken, leaving Mousse with only partially good
vision.
"You had enough!" the man said, ready to knock Mousse's lights out if he
said no. The man's hands were slightly bloody from hitting Mousse so hard.
The man was through playing games. Better yet, if Mousse said no, he would
stab him with his blade and finish him off once and for all.
"No!" Mousse said, trickles of blood now running from his cut eyelid. His
jet black hair was matted to his forehead and caked with blood, his blood.
He doubled forward and regurgitated a puddle of blood, some of it staining
his black shoes. The pains he suffered were excruciating, especially the
pain around his cheek. One of his eyes, the eye that was bleeding, was
almost swollen shut, obsurring his vision of the man.
"I won't let you kill Shampoo! Not while I'm alive!" Mousse added, his
breathing heavy, coming in gasps.
The man lunged forward, about to stab Mousse in the heart, the killing
wound. Mousse quickly reacted and sidestepped towards the side.
Unfortunately, he reacted too slowly and the blade plunged deep into his
left shoulder, severing several tendons upon its enterence, rendering it
useless. Mousse screamed out in agonizing pain as the man pulled the blade
back out, clawing at him with his one good arm. The man quickly deflected
the attack and countered again, only to have his attack parried and
countered. Mousse, after deflecting the man's counter, counterattacked with
a slash towards his chest. The blades of his three claws nicked the man's
chest, leaving him with nothing more than a superficial wound.
"I have to say that you're quite good!" the man said, taking a step back,
away from the still clawing Mousse "No one had ever managed to hurt me!"
The man quickly lunged forward, and sidekicked Mousse in the chest, causing
him to go flying backwards, slamming his back into the wall of the
Nekohanten again. Before Mousse had a chance to fall to the ground, the man
sidekicked him again in the chest, hitting him with such force that it broke
several of his ribs and broke the wall down behind him. Mousse was sent
through the hole in the wall, and into the Nekohanten, where he crashed up
against some tables, causing him further pain and injury.
"I.....won't...let...you.....kill....Shampoo!" Mousse said, slowly getting
back up to his feet, clutching at his broken ribs with his one good arm.
He doubled over again, regurgitating blood again, spilling it all over the
clean floor of the Nekohanten. Blood flowed profusely from the wound in his
left shoulder, running down the length of his white-robed arm, falling to
the floor from his fingertips.
The man entered the Nekohanten via the opening in the wall. He gave
Mousse credit for surviving this long. No one had ever sustained nearly as
much pain before they blacked out. Slowly, he proceeded towards Mousse.
Mousse tried to retreat, but his legs were failing him. His strength was
practically gone. He watched through his one good eyes as the man got
closer and closer, the blade hed fast in his hands.
The man lunged forward again, roundhousing Mousse with all his might.
Mousse was left with nothing to do but block the blow with his good arm. The
kick came in at such force that Mousse heard a loud pop when it hit his
arm. Mousse suddenly realized that his sholder was dislocated. Unable to
maintain balance, Mousse slammed into the counter, which popped his
shoulder back into place.
"I'm gonna give you one last chance. If you leave, you will live" the man
said "If you stay, you will die....what's it gonna be?"
"I'm....goin'......to.......stay!" Mousse said through clenched teeth,
slowly getting back onto his feet "I'm not.....going...to....let...you.....
kill.....Shampoo! If...I....die.....you....die"
"Suite yourself!" the man said. He quickly jumped forward and stabbed
Mousse deep in his chest, the blade breaking through his ribcage, and into
his heart. The man looked up at Mousse and smiled. He had just struck him
with the killing blow.
Mousse never cried out on pain. With the man's blade still stuck deep in
his chest, he plunged his own blades into the man. All three blades of his
claws broke through the mans ribs with no trouble, tearing his insides to
ribbons. The blades pierced through the man's lungs, heart, and exited
through his back, shattering his spine upon its exit, killing him in an
instant.
Mousse closed his eyes and fell backwards to the floor.
As he laid there, his lifeblood exiting from his wound, he patiently
waited for death to bestowe him.
But before he died, he felt a warm gently hand caress the side of his
face. Slowly, he opened his eyes. There, kneeling beside him, was Shampoo.
Mousse felt himself being craddled in her slender arms as his head rested
up against her bosom, him hearing her gentle heartbeat within.
"Please, Mousse. Don't die!" she said, her tears falling from her chin,
lannding on Mousse's bloody face "I love you!"
"Shampoo......I.....love......you" he said weakly.
With that said, Mousse closed his eyes and died.
<End for now>
I'd like to say that the characters in this story were created by
Rumiko Takahashi and I would never infringe on her works. If you're
reading this, then I assume you liked this fanfic enough to read til the
end and I thank you. Please send me comments (No flames like "You suck"
or the like please). I would really apreciate it. It'd like to know if
people really appreciate my writing and my contibutions to anime. When
flaming me for killing off Mousse, please keep in mind that he is one of
my favorite characters and I had a lot of trouble writing this about him.
Sure, I could make it turn out so he would survive and he and Shampoo could
live happily ever after, but that's not my style.(Read Too late) I love
emotional endings. I'm sorry for any spelling or grammar errors. I wrote
and edited this in only one sitting. If you enjoyed this, I'm happy to say
that I will be writing more sometime in the future.
P.S.-If you want any of my other fanfics, just ask.
Please note that I'm online seldomly.
