middling at athletics and swordplay and just sucky at magework but with a 
few of the right tools then anything is possible.

 Silently the crystal ring on my finger shimmers and I'm holding a

 I grit my teeth and swing the blade at the formless form...the

There is a flash of ?Something? light?dark and the inside of my mouth tastes 
like I had bitten on tinfoil... 
   I stand in a featureless place of blackflowing sand-dunes. the sky is 
white and the stars black holes of void.......
