Interesting thread.  I think if a person got a gender curse they might 
decide to commit suicide, but only if they were in the "Big" type 
situation, where they're tossed out of their lives, families, and 
friends, permanently.  But probably most people in that situation, and 
all people in a situation like mine (in a big university, 95% of life is 
anonymous ^_^) would have a brief period of shock, mostly because the 
situation is absurd that shock seems like the right thing to do.  After 
that they would just go on like nothing happened.
It's too absurd to deal with.  And there's no cultural precedent for 
acting differently if something like that would happen to you.
