HTG (Still wondering how a mere nuke could have dried out the Pacific Ocean)

    Who said it did?  Japan just became a desert, the oceans are 
still there although they have heated up to around 600 degrees F. And 
I really wouldn't recommend swimming in them.
    As for Kasumi and Dr. Tofu, I already have plans for them in the 
works. Akane? Weeeelll know, y'all 'll have ta keep on readin' 
wont'cha?

Well, after a few  years at ~600 deg. F those oceans would have boiled away,
and so would have dried up.  However, i don't think all of the nukes on this
planet could heat up the entire Pacific Ocean that much, so it would still
be there, but if the rads got through the water to the fish, than it may not
be that safe to try swim in.
