Add my request to the list!

EEP! AAARRRGGGHHH!!! URG! (insert other such exclamations of shock and
fear here)

Windir: You sound as if you are in some distress, dear Sailor. Is there
some way in which I can be of assistance?

We're currently into Sig War III and the Sauce Wars. I would say it's
getting confusing, except that it has always _been_ confusing.
And it's huge. Kerbillions of posts....There are a couple of people
planning to write up parts of it (like the individual wars), but that's
nowhere near finished.....While we're waiting, someone could post "The
Stand", unabridged, if they wished. Typing in about two or three pages a
day. ^_^

Eeep!

Frito: Hey, Prof, wake up! Wake *UP*!

Ow! I think you punctured my eardrum, Frito.

Frito: I hadda do somethin'... you was just starin' off inta space, goin'
bibble-bibble-bibble...

Well, yes, I suppose. But the scale of the thing! I'd thought that it
would be fun to participate, and I suppose I still think so... but ye
gods, the time it'd take! I don't have time for the 501 things I'm doing
now!

Windir: Yes, you still have to finish that major update to the PPP web
page, covering MacPPP and FreePPP 2.5.

I know, Windir. No need to remind me. <Sigh... head bowed under yet
another weight.>

But I have to say, I like what Orick's done with his sig characters.
They've gotten very real to me...

He's one of the people I respect the most on the list, for sheer
characterization skills. The Band comes alive so well in even the brief
snippets they usually get, let alone the longer pieces like the one we're
talking about here.

Kirna: joyce, _I'm_ real to you.
me: But I created you! That's different!
Kirna: Uh-huh. Whatever you say, O Fearless Author.

Windir: Kirna, did you, perchance, have the opportunity to read the
speech I made a week or two ago? There's no *need* for you to feel
indebted to your author! While your author does indeed fashion the words
that present you to others, she is merely providing expression to the
true, eternal spirit that is you!

I'd hoped you had forgotten about that little episode, Windir. <Heavy
sigh> At least you haven't grown a beard and started organizing street
demonstrations...

Frito: Nah, that's my job.

Eek.

Windir: I'm the one writing the pamphlets. ".Sig Characters of the
universe, unite!"

<With a sinking feeling> Oh, Ghu. <Thud>

-joyce, Disciple of Kasumi
Joey-kun no iinazuke!
Princess of A-1
(which somehow makes me the daughter of two of my characters...)

------------------
Kirna: I knew it! You're just another sig, masquerading as an author!
me: NO!! NO!! It's not true!! It can't be true..!....
Kirna: Look up, kid.
me (seeing the Official Sig Separator Line): AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

It could be worse. *TRUST ME*.
