One question, though, Sailor Slacker, what is an MRE?

In military parlance, it means Meals Ready to Eat.

The soldiers refer to it (more accurately) as Meals Rejected by the Enemy.

(unless the MRE refers to something less known...)

How about 'Makes Retching Easy'?  Trust me, some of the MRE's I was forced
to consume during my brief stint with the Reserves fit this category
perfectly. :P

Everything is the boil-in-a-bag variety of hog swill, the dried stuff
doesn't rehydrate, even when soaked for days, and the tubes of peanut butter
and honey make excellent substitutes for caulking on windows.

The sausage and hash-browns could be mined for crude oil, they were that
greasy.  

I think I'll leave everyone with that dose of nausea.  Now back to our
irregular spam.  ^_^
