        You said you needed some suggestions.  Well here's one:  Nobody
knows what happened to Akane, Kusumi and Dr. Tofu, right?  Well, suppose
that they survived somehow. . . hmm.  I mean, who knows, Dr. Tofu _could_
have had an old bomb shelter under his clinic that he re-fitted for nuclear
attack.
        As to why nobody knows where they are, suppose that they came out a
little earlier than everbody else.  If that where the case, they would have
thought everbody else was dead and tried to hike away (assuming that they
had enough supplies, this would be possible).
        If you suddenly had them return. . . well. . . who knows how
everybody else might react.  You know?
        Then, if you do that, you can always have Mousse find out about it
somehow and decide that killing Akane might be a better form of revenge then
using an old missile.
        After that, I'm kind of stumped.^_^

	One would have to think... maybe one or all of them could have 
been mutated somehow as well (Akane might have found shelter from the 
blast elsewhere and stumbled across Kasumi and Tofu at some point).  If 
so, you might want to examine Ranma's reaction.
