Akane rarely 
trys to do anything that will get Ranma's love (probably because Ranma already 
loves her).  If she needs to win Ranma's love, all she need to do is smile and 
be nice to Ranma.  After all, whenever Akane is nice to Ranma, Ranma tends

to be 

dazed and don't know what to do.  Still, it is an interesting story.  

Well, I thought that too...until this latest Ukyo deal in the mangas.

Akane's imagined Ukyo: "You don't mind not being his fiancee anymore, Akane?"
Akane to herself, in response: "Yeah, right.  She comes out of nowhere, 
                                and...*WHAK* i'll BE there, ukyo!"
