Hurray! Somebody else liked it! :) It is the intro/hook for a series, I
have lots of little stories, and its my first, so I'm having all the fun
of learning what looks good in print versus what I thought sounded great
in my head. ^_^ I do have large chunks of story written, plus a well laid
out explanation of the world and the players, but it is has grown, so I
need to rewrite some of those. Also, I have to wait for the deep mood to
hit me so I can suppress the normally shy and sarcastic me and write -
though I am finding I can supress that or generate the mood with the right
kinds of music. No wonder so many people keep listing the music they
write to! :)

Umm, well, I'm throwing Vampire Princess Miyu in there as a blatant "this
is based on anime" sort of pointer, especially since one of the earlier
comments to an earlier version of the intro was "you should put something
in to tie it into an anime so you can post it to the fanfic ml and get
more input." Which stumped me, since it is not really about any
particular anime, but takes all the things that sort of ring my bell from
a number of animes, including Vampire Princess Miyu, MAPS, Miracle Girls,
Creamy Mami (visual and sound elements from this, and yes, I know I'm a
hentai cause of why I like this show ^_^), Video Girl Ai, Sailor Moon
(well, as a genre, at least :), oh, and a few others. Though I must
admit, the basic feel I strive for is the one I get from Miyu, that deep
mystery with a deeper, unstated sense of the erotic and sensual. I love
Careful Destinies for just that reason, the author does a great job of
adding this, which is, for me, far more . . . exciting . . . then, say,
regular lemon fare with alls its direct descriptions.
