To sum up - Hitomi got caught by Andy's post and checked up on it, 
clocking up 4 hours worth of phone calls.  Andy has apologised and 
offered to pay for it.  Quite alright and should have been end of story.

Sage - as Andy said - there are many different nationalities, and 
timezones on this mailing list.  The idea of 'April Fools' is a mainly 
western tradition, not world wide - NOT ALL PEOPLE FOLLOW APRIL FOOLS DAY!

It shows Hitomi's dedication that she bothered to check up on this.  
If it wasn't April Fools day, would you have believed it *and* checked up 
on it?  Hitomi did.

Its like if you receive hints of an excellent job offer.  Wouldn't you 
ring around and check up on it, even going to the extent of long distance 
calls if the job was that good?  Most certainly you would - you'd be mad 
otherwise.

Second, Andy: I don't know who is worse... Hitomi for being a complete fool,
or you for trying to cover for her sheer stupidity.  Get a life! i thought
your post was great.... i was laughing all the way through. yea, you got me
too. Thats why it was great.  Don't lessen your great post because POOR
LITTLE HITOMI can't figure out a simple thing like that... God, what a lamer
you are.... sheash.... grr....

Andy is being a gentlemen, and offering to cover any hardship caused by 
his joke.  You are insulting his offer by making such fun of it.

It hasn't lessened his post in any way by him apologising to Hitomi.

Remember, the whole idea of April Fools is to have fun, not seriously 
inconvience others.  If you do, you offer to help them, not kick them in 
the face.
