In the same mold, but much less individually dangerous. But she is in a
more favourable situation. In the old situation the arranged marriage
meant that Akane could (and did) interfere (often violently ^_^) with any
attempt by her rivals to "romance" Ranma (You can't romance someone
unconscious from a hammer blow ^_~).
Oh....I dunno. She seems to be a mixture of Kodachi and Shampoo's
underhandedness, and Nabiki's methods. The glomping was classic Shampoo,
however. And, if Ranma moves soon enough, then he can use Akane as a
shield...no, strike that, he'll use Akane as a lever to pry Kinuko off.
i.e. I don't love you, and I'm engaged, so please leave me alone. In other
words, the one thing he *couldn't* do in his original world. Of course, it
won't work, but he can try.
Kinuko will be a problem for Ranma, since he can't use his normal tatic
of hiding behind Akane. Ranko will be of some help but a sister doesn't
have quite the same rights as an iinazuke.
