can tell!
I am also wondering about the first two questions, but definitely
not the third.
I can just hear Akane's comment. "Ranma you PERVERT!"
The old Akane yes. The new Akane... she'd be more likely to say "I don't
want to date you Ranma - get lost."
But I think that Ranma should be more worried about Soun's and Kasumi's
reactions. Soun just happens to be a much better martial artist, and
Soun is improved yes. But in the dojo fight Soun did his best to nail
Ranma, and was held to a standstill by a Ranma who didn't really
counterattack. On the available evidence Ranma should be cautious about
annoying Soun, but confident about what happens (to Soun) if the matter
results in a fight.
Kasumi...well, Kasumi seems more..ugh--how should I say--serious. Sorry,
I have to feel that a serious and vengeful Kasumi is as dangerous as it gets.
A strange concept that I have trouble taking in.... And Kasumi would
have Nabiki backing her up, and maybe Akane as well. A formidable
combination.
:>But, well, if Kinuko is five weeks pregnant, wouldn't
her condition be obvious to everyone?
Which species do you think Kinuko is part of? It can't be Homo Sapiens
if the pregnancy shows that early.
Perhaps she had a miscarriage or an abortion. It would explain her "absence".
I think the comment Kinuko made when she grabbed onto Ranma (in part
2) explains things fairly well.
She said "Surely you've forgiven our little spat.." (or words to that
effect).
And the timing, the pregnancy claim was made just before Ranma & Kinuko
broke up. And Ranko has a slightly different attitude to Kinuko in the
flashbacks - there she disliked Kinuko, but in part 2 Ranko seemed to
truly despise her.
The author can do (and change) whatever he wants (it's his story) but I
think there are clear pointers to his thinking.
