Hi folks :)

This is just a little poem I wrote for Saf and Damon that represents a
special little moment that occured on the #ranma! IRC channel last night.
It's simple but I think it worked :) Hope ya like it.


Once or twice a year, usually in the fall and spring, the earth passes
between the sun and the moon. The earth then casts a shadow onto the moon,
turning it a coppery orange colour, that as a kid, reminded me of tigers.
This is known as a Harvest Moon. But I called it a Tiger Moon . . . 

The Tiger Moon

The Tiger Moon
Shines down tonight
Two hearts look up
To see its light

They stare into
Its tawny glow
One thinks three words
The other- "I know . . ."

Two points of light
That yearn to meet
Must wait for time-
Too slow the beat

And so they stare
Night after night
And count the days
Until their flight . . .

When they will reach
Beyond too soon
To finally share
The Tiger Moon
