Indeed, a truly evil plot twist (does ruin the mood for the fall

   Well, you assume she's still pregnant.  Of course, even if she isn't,
   things are still complete FUBAR for poor Ranma.  If she is, and is going
   to be, I don't see how Ranma can expect to end up with Akane, for as you
   alluded to, survival will be difficult.

And you're assuming K<what's-her-name> is telling the truth in the
first place....

I mean, there's precedent for this in early UY....
