Yes... if this was a "Macross" poll.  But if you'll check the header, it 
was a "Robotech" poll and thus used the American character names.
 

Btw, how does one vote for this thing?

Every 6 months or so, a ballot paper and instruction appears on the 
Robotech Mailing List, the Robotech Echo, alt.tv.robotech and 
alt.fan.robotech.  If there is enough call for it, a copy of it can be 
uploaded to this Mailing List.

Next Call For Vote should be ~15th of August.
