As for importance.
Do you think anyone will actually remember me in ten years? Or fifty? What
I do will not last out my generation.
Hitomi, importance should not be measured in how long of an impact u make on
people, but how strong the impact is now. Out of all the people who have
ever lived on this planet, how many have actually had their contributions
remembered even 10 years after they made them? A few billion? Out of how
many Quadrillion people that have ever lived on this planet? U see only the
large prize as important, not the smaller victories which can add up to
something *MUCH* more important. Do not compare yourself with those who
have already achieved greatness, that is guaranteed to make you *look* like
a failure. Instead, look at them before they had achieved greatness. U will
see that they were not much better than normal people, that either caught a
lucky break or worked hard, despite the failures, and made themselves succeed.
U will *never* achieve the recognition u describe above *unless* u stop
being so negative about urself and give ur all. Being so critical has to
be keeping u from doing ur best work, so u cannot improve unless u give
up this self-destructive vandetta against urself.
