Interesting story...I must confess it is an original idea source for a

Not really... as I said in the intro, I was *heavily* inspired by the 
Undocumented Features crew.

One thing though.  I seem to recall that someone else created Dr. Who along
with Lambert.  I don't have my Dr.Who books with me, so I can't confirm this
offhand.

Hmmm. I thought I'd checked in Haining's _The Key to Time_, and IIRC he 
credited Lambert as the sole creator. I'll have to go back and look again.
