BTW: Since posting my previous reply, I've been thinking really hard
about the Ghost In The Shell fanfic idea. Me thinks that one is moving up
the priority list. Might take a crack at it when I finish up Volume 1 of Cross
in May. But I gotta watch the OAV first; it's only been in the U.S. (I was
informed by the distributor that there are no planned Canadian >>showings)
for a few months and is only being shown at special screenings >>in selected
cities. How much does a plane ticket to Japan cost these days >>anyway?

I wouldn't know how much it would cost for a ticket to japan, but I could
help you with the information about the Ghost in the Shell OVA (since I
happened to be in one of the few cities that had a special showing of it.
Amazing was that fact that I was one of 10, as in T-E-N, people in the
theater at that time watching it. It made it a lot of fun since the people
in there were of the same attitude as my roommate and I and had small
discussions during the movie.) I highly recommend that you get the
opportunity to watch Ghost in the Shell as soon as it comes out (I think I
was quoted that it would come out in tape around April or so).

ONLY 10 PEOPLE??? <sigh> Geez, I've been all over the internet to find out
about Canadian showings (none planned) and trying to find out when it would
be showing in a U.S. city around here (there's actually a website for
this information but I don't have the URL handy). If the tape is coming out
in April though I should probably save my gas fare to Michigan for a tape
instead. Thanks for the info Jon! I can't wait to see it! :)
