So... how can one write a Star Trek crossover that doesn't make use
of time travel or transdimensional gateways to bring the universes
together? I just had one idea:
Star Trek and Wings of Honneamise.
I'm serious! First contact with a world just beginning space
exploration... potential violations of the Prime Directive.... Only thing
is, the writing had better be really really good.
Panda? Care to do this one?
However, remember, the first contact is for species just discovering
*warp*, not space exploration itself.
Wow. An intriguing plot. But I'm just getting my feet wet in the anime
ocean and have not seen Wings of Honneamise (though I've heard the
artwork is pretty good). BG Crash! and Lodoss are next on my list. Like
Damon, I'm not a
Don't watch BG Crash. Trust me, *PLEASE!!* Save yourself the torture.
But, WoH is *EXCELLENT*.
Yeah, I haven't heard to many good things about Crash! but I would like to
see it for two reasons 1) Research for my fanfic(s) (maybe another BGC fic in
the very early stages) and 2) Curiosity ;)
How do you plan to use the very contorted BGCrash universe in a BGCrisis
universe??? I'm curious as to that.
I said you, because I really like your writing style and quality.
Thanks Ben :) I'm humbled and honoured by your compliment. The plot itself
is intriguing, but I can't honestly say I'd be interested in writing a Star
Trek fanfic. But I'm writing the idea down anyway since good plot ideas are
hard to come by, and if I get to see W.O.H. soon, well ya never know; I
might just be inspired to write something. Another anime that I'm really
looking forward to seeing is Ghost In The Shell, and from what I've heard
about it, it sounds like the kind of story and atmosphere I could really dig
my teeth into for a fanfic. We'll see ;) Thanks for throwing the W.O.H. idea
my way and inspiring some other ideas. And thanks again for the compliment
:) Check out Blue Lightning
though, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised by Damon's style and
quality :)
I'll have to read that one, if I get time..... Bert and I formed a
"Time mis-manager's Anonymous" but we can't find time to go to the meetings.
