just an observation... think about it from everyone else's point of view
for a change...)
Well, has anyone tried to put a con together down there? Would it be
feasible?
ok Crombie... yes we do have the occasional Con down here - I think there
is one comming up in a week or two here in Brisbane (called Parliment of
Dreams or something...) - but that's a Sci-Fi con... not an anime one...
the major problem that *I* believe stuffs up the idea of a dedicatred
anime con is the fact that we have so few distributors of anime that
would be interested... add the fact that anime is not exactly a
'mainstream' entertainment item... and you're looking at either a
*really* weak convention or no convention at all...
But then I *could* be wrong - any other Australians that have been to a
convention dedicated to anime (here in Australia I mean...) - let me
know..
