I disagree... I really like the story better if you don't add that
complication. There are already too many things going on...

Yes, I'm beginning to feel the strain of all of these threads.  But I feel
that the sexual tension is very necessary for a scene that I have envisioned
in the distant future (WW knows what I'm talking about, but he and I aren't
talking  ^_^ )

but I think the Ranko/Ranma thing is just very UN-Ranma in a story
where you are having Ranma be Ranma in a universe where he wasn't Ranma.
(Does that make sense?)

Actually, I kinda-sorta understood it on a certain level.

The Ranma we all know and love just WOULDN't do stuff with his sister, 
no matter what universe he was in, despite what Ranko (being your invention)
tries to do.

Well that would be true, had he lived his entire life with her.  But the
things to keep in mind here are:  a) Ranko would be the aggressor, and the
instigator of anything like that, and b) Ranma would have to refuse to have
sex (or something slightly less than sex...) with a beautiful woman who he's
already admitted he loves. 

I can believe that Ranko might chase after Ranma... but I don't think he
would allow himself to be caught by her anymore than Shampoo, or Kodachi,
or Ukyou.

But the big difference here is that she's not engaged to him, nor is she
trying any of the techniques usually employed by the three mentioned above
to ensnare him.  By being his friend and partner first and foremost, Ranko
has managed to work her way into Ranma's heart.  That is the foundation from
which I've been basing their actions (and reactions).  They're at the point
right now where Ranko is re-drawing the boundaries of her relationship to
Ranma, and he is establishing boundaries with her.  Granted Ranma will not
ever marry Ranko, but the temptation of that beautiful young lady will
probably be one of his hardest challenges.

Ranma-takahashi's Ranma-and, I think the Ranma you are portraying in
this story- loves Akane and only Akane, he is just scared to admit it.

He's still scared to admit it... to anyone but his sister.  He's already
told Ranko that he loves her, and that he's in love with Akane.
