Well, I guess I should explain myself concerning my recent lassitude.  I've
had a hard time getting back into a creative groove with Careful Destiny.
Work has increased since I got back from Katsucon.  (I had to install an
NT-based Usenet server...  'nuff said)

Also, I'm revising existing sections of parts 2 and 3 with the help of the
Editor's continuum (you know who you are  ^_^).  Only a little bit of new
stuff has been added to part 3 for now.  I'm trying to extend and develop my
long range plans for the story so that I don't wind up contradicting myself
later on...

Don't worry, Careful Destiny is continuing, and it is open ended (hence no
known end to the story)

BTW, I'd also like to address a couple of questions.

1)  Is the other Ranma in the 1/2 continuity?  
        Perhaps, although I don't want to write it.  I will admit that a
whole other range of stories could be written *by someone else* to chronicle
the life of the 'geek' version of Ranma.  (And remember that he would have
the curse to deal with too...)  If someone decides to write this, I'd
suggest waiting until Ranko and Ranma have their little discussion about
some of the other Ranma's past.

2)  Lemons.
        I'm going to try to further tone down the story in response to an
uproar over Ranko and Ranma's dalliances (but I will *NOT* remove any
existing scenes).  I do strongly suggest that if someone wants to see a
lemon that they find someone willing to write a side story to mine.  I would
readily consent to someone doing so (I just don't have the talent to write
good lemon, at least not yet...  ^_- )


*NOTE*
I am also taking suggestions for events that occurred in the other Ranma's
past.  Nothing's too zany.  Anyone interested should follow the guideline below:

--> It's been established so far that Ranma prior to the wish was a devout
non-combatant who didn't get along with his sister or (to some extent) his
father.  He was a mama's boy who clung to Nodoka shamelessly.  Also, he was
an Anime fanatic, and liked to read a lot (hence his title of geek).  He was
sexually promiscuous (as we've seen with Kinuko, although he'll find out
later on that she wasn't the only one...  ^_^ ), and had a whole different
sort of friends.  (Imagining AlterRanma encountering Ryouga for the first
time... heh heh heh ^_^;;


Anyway, I gotta get back to work and test the damned news server again.
I'll try to pop out a copy of CD3 sometime soon.  No guarantees on when or
how much, however.
