I've heard somewhere that the "Good Times" virus DOES work on some mail 
programs; it seems the mail system on AOL responds to certain tags in the 
message and executes commands. But most mail programs will only read the 
message and ignore the tags. However, if you have a ZMODEM protocol or 
something similar the virus will also work if you have the receive set on AUTO;
for example Procomm Plus will start the ZMODEM file transfer if it sees 
the ZMODEM start string. Some versions of ZMODEM will overwrite the existing 
file if there is a name collision.
