(Speaking of stories, John...I'm partway through Chapter 4 of Tav1/2,  
but given certain recent events, I can't get in the mood to write so it 
may be a while.  Maybe you could get some more of Pearl done for its 
public debut in the fanzine <grin>)

Hai!  I've got the first draft done of the first Pearl story, but it 
needs a rewrite...She talks to the reader too much to explain things, but 
I don't wanna make characters ask her to explain her own internal 
monologues either :)
