I just heard from a friend today that there is a VERY nasty virus that has

delete it IMMEDIATELY! Do not read it! My friend told me that it will create
some kind of endless loop in your hard drive and wipe EVERYTHING out! If
your hard drive starts acting up, I was told that you should Reset the
computer pronto. That's the scoop. Keep yer eyes open!

Hello. I would just like to point out that it is a *good* thing Pandas
don't blush... Yes, you have been *had*. The "Good Time" virus is a
rumour started (surprise, surprise) by an AOL user. It has *no* bearing
and was quashed ruthlessly about 12 months ago.
There is *no* good time virus.
You *cannot* get attacked by simply reading mail unless:
A) You try to run a binary attachment
B) You try to read a Microsoft Word file which has been infected
with the Microsoft "Macro" bug.
Mr Panda, welcome to the Red-Face brigade. ^_-
