According to Doi's homepage and the SM USA Faq, she attends a Catholic 
girl's school.  Dunno when exactly they say this in the manga/anime.
  

Yes.  Two new characters will be appearing in Sailor Moon Z, the dream 
stuff from Jupiter's tale is going to be important, Rei's grandfather 
calling his son will have important consequences, Yuki from Mercury's 
story and Steven from Venus' will be returning...

I think I have to reread the begining of Sailor Moon Z as I may have read 
a little bit to much into the opening as it pertains to Naru. Unless she 
did appear in the opening prelude....Okay so I'm still reding a little 
bit to much into the begining....:)  

Naru's past life does appear in the Sailor Moon Z Prelude :)  Along with 
the Sailor Senshi and a few other people...

And Episode 1 will be about her sixteenth birthday...and the accompanying 
trouble :)
