How can you not like Akane?  You wouldn't be jealous would you?

Akane's short-tempered, violent, obsessively possesive (of Ranma) and is 
as stubborn as any other character in R1/2.

She's not really short-tempered, it's just that Ranma pushes her over the 
edge so much.  Remember, she wouldn't lose her temper if she didn't care.

She loves Ranma, granted, but on all evidence no more or less than Shampoo 
or Ukyou does.  And life with her would be dangerous as she's a toxic 
cook and inept at domestic duties, but insists upon doing them anyway.

So, I can eat anything and am a slob.  The fact that she tries is more 
important than whether or not she's good at them.

There are a lot of things about Akane that you can dislike - if it wasn't 
possible to dislike her she'd probably be another Kasumi.

You gotta admit, life with Akane would be a lot more interesting than 
life with Kasumi.
